Vietnamese Braised Sea Scallops

This dish is quite expensive if you are not able to order it during Happy Hour (during HH, it is 1/2 off). You only get 2 scallops. They are nice, big, plumpy pieces but the dish lacked flavor. The sauce that it is technically braised in did not leave much impact. There is a small serving of jasmine rice but the sauce is not that rich to even mix it with the rice. I expected more from this dish.
