  1. INTRODUCTION

    1. PURPOSE OF POLICY DISHIZZLE, INC., ("us," "we," or "Company") is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, visitors, and other users of www.dishizzle.com (the "Site"). We created this Website Privacy Policy (this "Policy") to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.       PLEASE NOTE: We are a general audience site, and do not direct any of our content specifically at children under 13 years of age. We understand and are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children's privacy online. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a Site user is under age 13, we will promptly delete any personal information in that user's account.

    1. WHAT BASIC INFORMATION DOES THE COMPANY COLLECT?
      In operating the Site, Company may include registration, online surveys, and other online forms that ask users to provide their names, e-mail addresses, mailing address and other contact information, as well as the following categories of information:

      • Mailing Address, required in order to send gifts and other complimentary items

    2. WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DOES COMPANY COLLECT

      1. AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers automatically recognize visitors' domain names and IP addresses (the number assigned to computers on the Internet). No personal information about you is revealed in this process.       3. USER SUBMISSIONS. Because of the services we offer to visitors of our site, we store and publicly display your submissions. Submissions may include any user generated content, such as dish ratings, reviews, comments, photos, and any other information submitted as part of your account profile. Company reserves the right to publish, share or sell user submissions to third parties.

      4. OTHER INFORMATION. You may choose to provide us with another person’s contact information, including email, so that person may be invited to create an account on this SITE and become your friend. We may use this information to send the initial invite, and if necessary, possible follow up communications to remind that person of the invitation. By providing us with this contact information, you represent to us that you have obtained the person’s consent to provide us with their personal invitation. All such persons invited under this section will be provided with the option not to receive further invitations. We may disclose such information if required of us to do so in order to comply with any legal requests as described in section 3.1(d).

If Company or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.

Unfortunately, we do not maintain any procedures for you to review or request changes to the information that we collect about you, except that you may request that we remove all information about you from our database by contacting us in accordance with Section 6.1 below.

    1. SITE SECURITY.

      The Site has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.

    2. SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

      Third parties may be able to indentify you, contact you are associate you with our user account by way of personal information you include in your submissions. Third parties may also use the lookup feature on the SITE using personal information already known about you, such as your full name and other information. They may use this feature to associate you with your user account if enough personal information is disclosed. If there is any information you expect to be kept private, do not include such information in your submissions. The Company is not responsible for any private information disclosed by the user in any submissions.

      Please note any messages sent between users are only private to the extent that both sender and recipient keep these communications private.

      Upon creating a user account, you agree to receive periodic emails from the Company. Such communications may include, but are not limited to, news and updates regarding the Site, new and featured contests, winners and other current events.

      Users can opt-out of receiving email updates by clicking a hyperlink at the bottom of every email communication, usually located at the bottom of the communication. Unregistered users receiving invitation emails may also opt-out with the same method.

      From time to time restaurants will conduct sweepstakes or other contests where you may enter in order to possibly win gifts and other prizes. If a user enters such contests, Company may submit your information such as email address, user submissions (separately or in aggregate) and other information reasonably required to participate in the contest.
