I thought I'll give something else on the menu a try since I always order the Bun Bo Hue. And plus I was just here a few days before ;) I tried the Bun Rieu which is a noodle dish that consist of a tomato based broth- a bit tangy and seafood-y because of shrimp and crab paste. They put fried tofu and snails in this noodle soup here which is different. After leaving, I'm thinking the owner might have thought I ordered the Bun Rieu Oc (Bun Rieu with snail), but I'm not sure if it was an error or if they always put the snails in. Just FYI. The broth was more sweet and salty than what I'm used too. The noodles are a vermicelli so it's thinner and smaller than the noodle they use in Bun Bo Hue (which is a spaghetti like noodle).
