This was a awesome dish simply because the chicken was tender and delicious and the special chicken rice was my favorite part of the dish. The rice is cooked in a very authentic Chinese style where they use the chicken broth that they cooked the chicken with to cook the rice. The flavor just comes out heavenly. I feel like I'm back in Taiwan eating my grandma's home cooking. Very simple, but delicious. I also like the pickled vegetables that comes with the dish. If you have been searching for authentic Chinese food, give this hole in the wall place a try!

Wow... I was speechless. This chicken rice reminds me of the traditional home made dishes. Let me just warn you that the chicken is not suppose to have any flavor -- just bland. Rest of the flavor comes from the ginger oil with chopped green onions on the side and the rice. The chicken was very very tender! And the nice thing about this is that they removed most of the bones. So you can just eat up without worrying too much about the bone. Finally, the rice! This is not your ordinary white rice. This has been cooked in the chicken broth that is from the same chicken that you are eating. All around, this is an excellent dish! A must try!
