Steamed Clam

The clams are absolutely delicious here! How tasty and comforting the sauce is. Everyone loved the sauce too; they couldn't stop picking at my plate =) I haven't had clams prepared in a tomato sauce but I dig it! Such a nice change to the garlic wine butter sauce that they're usually prepared with. The steamed clam sauce reminds me almost of a ratatouille with pieces of thinly cut garlic, tomatoes, onions, fennel all in a light saucy broth to dip the toasted baguette in. Their description read: Tomato fennel ragout, basil, grilled baguette, grana. I chose this appetizer as an entree instead and glad I made that choice.
