Crispy Polenta Crusted Calamari

"Portuguese Sausage, Lemongrass & San Marzano Tomatoes" This is the description on the menu. My husband loves calamari so when he saw this, he was sold on trying it. And it turned out to be one of our favorite calamari dish we've ever had. I had kind of questioned the Portuguese sausage as one of the ingredients, but it was delicious. It was chopped up very finely and blended with the sauce, you can't even really see the sausage until you take a bite and can taste the flavor of the sausage! I hate calamari that is heavily battered and this was not the case here. This calamari dish was lightly battered to the right amount and you can taste how fresh the calamari was. It was the perfect amount of crispiness and we couldn't stop taking bites after bites! This is a must try if you like calamari!!!
