i've had this dish 3 times. twice at the sorrento valley location. and both times i really enjoyed it, simple, good sauce and fish was tasty. i tried it again at the downtown ruths and it wasn't as good as i remembered. not sure if it was the sauce or maybe the temperature of the fish, taste was not as fresh as the 1st two times. and tasted bit drier or blander for some reason.

The ahi tuna was nicely seared and tasted very fresh. It's a simple dish and that's exactly how I like it.
