Miso Soup

How in the world can a Japanese Restaurant mess up on Miso Soup??? Well, this hole in the wall place DID. It was ridiculous, something so simple that every Japanese place offer, I can even cook it better myself! the flavor was horrible, the problem was, well, there wasn't much flavor at all. The weird thing was it had this tempura flakes on top of the soup, the thing is, because the soup is hot, it melted the flakes, so you end up with mushy flakes with your soup. NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!
