You have to like seaweed in order to eat this dish. There is seaweed in every bite. Served on a bed of lettuce (yes!) so that I don't lose any of the flavorings onto the plate. Topped with masago, sesame seeds and a delicate dressing. The seaweed flavor is still there but not too strong, with a crunchy texture when biting into the seaweed.
Very average and nothing special. But that was the overall theme from my dining experience from this place. It wasn't that fresh and I thought the masago eggs on top would make it better, well, it didn't really add anything to it. I've had much better seaweed salad at other Japanese restaurants. I guess compare to other dishes I had there that night, this was actually the highlight and the best dish. SAD!
