Cold Steamed Egg Custard with Shrimp and Vegetable

This was yummy, I don't know how they get the egg custard soo soft that it just melts in your mouth. It's not a full flavor dish but it was very unique and a great starter to rest of my dinner. This is also a very traditional unique Japanese dish that you won't see in most of the Japanese restaurants. In fact, that is what this restaurant is all about...it's very small but offers very authentic Japanese dishes. The only thing about this egg custard is I think I would love it more if it was served HOT! If you love eggs, you will like this! I also like the shrimp pieces in it along with little bites of veggies =) Must try!
